Following a 17-year battle with brain cancer, Roxette singer Marie Fredricksson died yesterday at the age of 61.

"In 2002, Marie was diagnosed with a severe brain tumor, receiving an aggressive treatment that took its toll but ultimately was successful,” read a statement from the band’s manager, noting that she had finally lost the battle.

Roxette’s Per Gessle paid tribute to his bandmate, noting, “Thank you, Marie, thanks for everything. You were an outstanding musician, a master of the voice, an amazing performer,” adding, “You were the most wonderful friend for over 40 years. I’m proud, honored and happy to have been able to share so much of your time, talent, warmth, generosity and sense of humor. All my love goes out to you and your family. Things will never be the same."

The pair formed Roxette back in 1986, and enjoyed a string of hits including four number one singles, 1989’s “The Look,” as well as “Listen to Your Heart,” “Joyride” and “It Must Have Been Love.”

StubHub has come out with their "Year In Live Experiences" report, revealing the best of live entertainment for 2019, and it seems a lot of legacy artists are still packing them in.

Topping the list this year is Elton John, thanks to his massive “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, with the Rolling Stones coming in at two and Queen at three. Other classic artists making the Top Ten include Billy Joel, Bob Seger, and Paul McCartney.

But not all the artists on the list have been around for a long time. Ariana Grande’s “Sweetener” tour helped land her at five, while Justin Timberlake is at ten. Country is also well represented with both Garth Brooks and Luke Combs making the Top Ten.

While Blake Shelton is incredibly happy now with girlfriend Gwen Stefani, he admits that he wasn’t exactly the nicest person before they got together.

"I don't want to remember what I was like before Gwen, actually," he told “Entertainment Tonight” backstage at “The Voice.” "I'm a little bit of jerk to you still," he notes referring to co-mentor KellyClarkson. He then added, "But I was a jerk to everybody... Look how nice I am now!"

Blake and Gwen team up for the song “Nobody But You," which will be featured on Blake’s new album “Fully Loaded: God’s Country,” which drops Friday. The song has the pair singing about how life gets better through a loving relationship, and Gwen certainly thinks that’s true of them.

"Blake saved my life, everybody knows that," she shares. "Like, we're just having the time of our lives, and we never expected that this late in our lives, so we're just trying to savor every moment together…I love being with him."
