This week’s pet is Rigby. He is a 2-year-old Box mix. Here is his story:
This handsome guy is Rigby! He was found as a stray and released to us from a local shelter. Rigby is a great dog with lots of personality. He has plenty of energy to go on a nice walk/run/hike or spend time playing around. He is very friendly and likes getting snuggled and giving you kisses. He has started training here but would benefit from continued training once in a home. We don't know anything about his past so should meet any potential "dog siblings" before going home with them. He is a silly, sweet, playful pup that is ready to find his forever home! If you think Rigby would be a great addition to your home, come on in, fill out an application, and spend some time with him!
Rigby participates in START Training (Save, Train, Adopt, Remain Together) with the Dayton Dog Training Club (DDTC) in order to learn manners and make more adoptable by learning commonly used commands like "sit", "down", "wait" and leash walking. His adopting family will get 2 free classes to learn with him. Call 268-PETS
