Another celebrity couple has called it quits. This time it’s Miley Cyrus and LiamHemsworth, who announced over the weekend that they were separating, less than a year after tying the knot.

“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” a rep for the couple told “People.” “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers." The rep adds, "They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”

Lady Gaga is vehemently denying a songwriter’s accusation that she stole the melody for her Oscar-winning “A Star Is Born” song “Shallow.”

Songwriter Steve Ronsen is threatening to sue Gaga accusing her of stealing a three-note progression for the hook of her song from his little heard tune “Almost,” and Gaga's team describes the possible suit as a “brazen shakedown.”

“Mr. Ronsen and his lawyer are trying to make easy money off the back of a successful artist. It is shameful and wrong,” Gaga’s lawyer Orin Snyder said in a statement. “I applaud Lady Gaga for having the courage and integrity to stand up on behalf of successful artists who find themselves on the receiving end of such [claims],” adding that if a lawsuit is filed, “Lady Gaga will fight it vigorously and will prevail.”

  • ONE MORE THING! Gaga is doing her part to try and heal some wounds left by the mass shootings in Gilroy, California, El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. The singer took to Facebook to share that through her Born This Way Foundation and DonorsChoose.org she is donating money to help fund classroom projects in 162 classrooms in the three cities affected.

“My heart goes out to those who were taken from us too soon and to their families, loved ones, and communities who are left to grieve. Everyone has the right to laws that make them feel safe in their communities,” she writes. “In this moment, I want to channel my confusion, frustration, and fury into hope. Hope that we are there for each other and for ourselves.”

It’s no secret that things are serious between Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, and while there hasn’t been any kind of news of an engagement, the two are taking a big step in their relationship.

According to “Entertainment Tonight” the couple just purchased a home in Los Angeles together. Although no details about the home are known, the site also reports that Gwen’s current home, which she bought with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, is in escrow, meaning she’s just about ready to move out of it.

But while the two will soon be shacking up, it doesn’t look like Blake and Gwen are rushing to make anything legal. "Blake and Gwen are head over heels in love, but don't want to feel rushed to tie the knot when everything is going so well in both of their lives," a source tells “Entertainment Tonight.” "Everyone is asking what they are waiting for, but they really just don’t want to rock the boat."
