Madonna is hitting the road, but she won’t be playing arenas and stadiums. The singer just announced a series of intimate shows at theaters across the country. The “Madame X Tour,” named after her upcoming album, which drops June 14th, will kick off September 12th with seven nights at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York.
So far, in addition to New York she’s confirmed dates in Chicago and Los Angeles, but the tour will also hit theaters in Las Vegas, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami Beach, Lisbon, London and Paris.
- Fans can go to Ticketmaster to request tickets for shows right now, and they will be notified if they got them. Tickets range in price from $60 to $760, with VIP packages also available. In addition, Madonna is running a lottery on her website in which ten pairs of $10 tickets will be sold for each show.
Pink has landed third number one. “Hurts 2B Human,” which also her third consecutive number one, moved 115,000 equivalent album units to claim the top spot on the “Billboard” 200, 95,000 of which were in traditional album sales.
Pink previously went to number one with 2017’s “Beautiful Trauma,” and 2012’s “The Truth About Love.” In addition, Pink has now had eight albums land in the Top Ten.
Kelly Clarkson had her appendix removed only hours after hosting the “Billboard” Music Awards, and apparently her recovery isn’t going that great.
“Quick recap... recovering after surgery super duper sucks,” she tweeted. “Turns out I don’t “rest” well (so bored), pain meds make me feel a different kind of horrible 2 where I question if I’d just rather feel the pain instead.”
She also adds, “2 out of the 3 scars feel as if Lord Voldemort is always near.”
