“A Star Is Born” Number One Again
The soundtrack to the Lady Gaga/Bradley Cooper flick “A Star Is Born” is number one yet again. The album tops the “Billboard” 200 Album chart for a third week, moving an additional 109,000 equivalent album units, 61,000 of that was in traditional album sales.
The album is now the first soundtrack to spend three weeks on top in more than a decade. The last to do so was the soundtrack to “High School Musical 2,” which spent four weeks on top in 2007. It's also Lady Gaga’s longest-leading number one, passing “Born This Way,” which spent two weeks on top.
Demi Lovato Has 90 Days Sober
There’s some good news to report with regards to Demi Lovato’s recovery. In a new interview, her mother Dianna De La Garza shares that the singer is celebrating 90 days sober.
“Yes, she has 90 days [of sobriety]," De La Garza revealed on episode of “Conversations with Maria Menounos.” “And I couldn’t be more thankful or more proud of her because addiction being a disease, it’s work. It’s not easy. There are no short cuts.”
De La Garza also opened up about how much she knew about the extent of her daughter’s substance abuse before her overdose. “I knew that she wasn’t sober, but let me clarify. I didn’t know what she was doing….because she doesn’t live with me,” she said. “She’s 26. I just knew that she wasn’t sober. And that’s all I really knew at that time.”
Ariana Grande Slams Rumors Surrounding Her Breakup
Ariana Grande is setting the record straight about some rumors that have been circulating about her split from Pete Davidson. After a fan tweeted a rumor that Ari had changed the locks on Pete and told him to leave her alone, she couldn’t help but to speak up.
“none of this is true. it’d be so helpful if the media and everybody would please just drop it and drop makin stuff up so we can heal and support one another moving forward,” she tweeted. “it sucks to see this stuff. thank u guys for understanding. ♡ much love and appreciation
Niall Horan Recovering From Sinus Surgery
Niall Horan has given fans an update on his health. The former One Direction star revealed that he’s recovering after undergoing sinus surgery last week.
“Just wanted to let you guys know that I’ve had my sinus surgery and recovery is going well,” he tweeted. “As I said I’ll be laying low for a while but thought you might want to know that part.”
Niall first shared his sinus issues with fans earlier this month, tweeting “Sinus infection is a real pain in the face!”
