“A Star Is Born” Spending Second Week At Number One

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are spending another week at number one. The soundtrack to their flick “A Star Is Born” is at number one on the “Billboard” 200 Album chart for a second week, moving an additional 143,000 equivalent album units.

This is now Gaga’s second album to spend more than one week at number one, following 2011’s “Born This Way,” which spent two weeks on top.

Coming in at number two this week is Quavo’s “Quavo Huncho,” followed by Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter V” at three, Lil Baby and Gunna’s “Drip Harder” at four and Ella Mai’s self-titled debut at five.

Rounding out the Top Ten are: Drake’s “Scorpion” at six, Twenty One Pilots’ “Trench” at seven, Travis Scott’s “Astroworld” at eight, Post Malone’s “beerbongs & bentleys” at nine and Eminem’s “Kamikaze” at ten.

Katy Perry Honored At amFAR Gala

Katy Perry was recently honored with the amFAR Award of Courage at the annual amFAR Gala in Los Angeles.

"Today I understand that a courageous life is the only one worth living," Katy, who was being honored for her efforts in the fight against HIV and AIDs, shared. "I come from a Bible-thumping background that wasn’t particularly open or accepting of curiosity, I wasn’t allowed to eat Lucky Charms -- luck was too closely associated with Lucifer, obviously -- or watch the Smurfs because they were magical blue demons, and then I became [the voice of] Smurfette later on in life, teenage rebellion.”

She added,  “I may not have known it then, but daring to ask questions and redefine right and wrong when everybody around me spoke in absolutes was my first attempt at a courageous life."

The gala, which was attended by Katy’s boyfriend Orlando Bloom, Heidi Klum, Leslie Mann, Judd Apatow and more, and featured a performance by Shirley Bassey, raised more than $14 million for the organization.
