Lady Gaga Frustrated By People Who Don’t Believe Her Pain
Lady Gaga revealed last year that she suffers from chronic pain due to fibromyalgia, and she says it’s frustrating that there are people out there who don’t believe her pain is real.
"I get so irritated with people who don’t believe fibromyalgia is real," she tells “Vogue” in he October cover story. "For me, and I think for many others, it’s really a cyclone of anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma and panic disorder, all of which sends the nervous system into overdrive, and then you have nerve pain as a result."
She adds, “People need to be more compassionate. Chronic pain is no joke. And it’s every day waking up not knowing how you're going to feel."
In the same interview, Gaga opens up about all the outrageous outfits she’s worn over the years, admitting that part of the reason she wore them was because they were “a form of protection.” “For me, fashion and art and music have always been a form of armor,” she shares. “I just kept creating more and more fantasies to escape into, new skins to shed. And every time I shed a skin, it was like taking a shower when you’re dirty: getting rid of, washing off, shedding all of the bad, and becoming something new.” She adds, “I just remember feeling so irritated at the thought that I had to conform to being ‘normal,’ or less of whatever I was already born as.
Kelly Clarkson And Jennifer Hudson Are Huge Fans Of Each Other
The new season of “The Voice” kicks off on September 24th, and it’s pretty evident that coaches Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson are big fans of each other.
In behind-the-scenes video from the show, the two former “American Idol” stars can’t stop gushing about each other. "I watched you win. You were my inspiration, and to think I did not win, and then to be able to sit here with you...,” J.Hud tells Kelly of her “Idol” triumph, to which Kelly responds, “I think you won in life.”
And while Kelly won “American Idol,” and J.Hud didn’t, they believe both of their perspectives can play a huge role in how they help their “Voice” team. J.Hud notes, "You can get a perspective of 'Yes, you can win,' and I can get the other perspective of 'You don't have to win, it's a matter of what you take and do with your opportunity.'"
ONE MORE THING! Kelly and J.Hud are going to be joined by another female coach on “The Voice” this season. Kelsea Ballerinihas just been added as the coach for the newly added “Comeback Stage,” which will see six contestants who don’t make a team during the blind auditions compete for a chance to re-enter the show during the Top 13 live rounds.
