Ariana Grande Doing “Carpool Karaoke”

It looks like Ariana Grande will be the next artist getting into the car with James Corden for “Carpool Karaoke.

Corden seemed to let the cat out of the bag on Twitter, sharing lyric sheets to Ari’s songs “No Tears Left To Cry,” and “God Is A Woman,” with the caption, “Learning these…”

When Ari chimed in with “sick what for…” Corden replied, “Just, y’no, life and In case I get stuck in traffic x.” He later added, "This has made my day. The #CarpoolKaraoke we just shot might be one of my favorite ever! I can’t wait for you to see it. @ArianaGrande is the real deal."

So far there’s no word on when Ari’s segment will air, but her new album, “Sweetener,” drops August 17th.

Plain White T’s hit being turned into a TV series: “Hey There Delilah,” the hit song by Plain White T’s, is being developed into a scripted TV series by the band’s frontman Tom Higgenson, theatre book writer Jeremy Desmon and Lively McCabe Entertainment’s Michael Barra. The series is being described as “a contemporary fairytale,” with Higgenson noting, “I’m excited to reimagine the story I’ve told a million times, and make something fun and fresh that people can fall in love with all over again.” The tune, released in 2006, spent multiple weeks at number one.
