Mariah Carey Helps Dancer Get Engaged
Mariah Carey took some time out of her Las Vegas residency this weekend to help one of her dancers get engaged. During her “The Butterfly Returns” performance at the at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, she brought out dancer Manwe to the stage and then invited his boyfriend Sumeet to join them.
Sumeet then got down on one knee and popped the question, and of course, Manwe said yes.
Woman Charged With Hacking Selena Gomez’s Email
A woman in New Jersey has been charged with hacking Selena Gomez’s email, according to prosecutors in Los Angeles.
Poor Selena was reportedly hacked by the accused, 21-year-old Susan Atrach, multiple times between June 2015 and February 2016. According to Deputy DA Ben Forer, Atrach allegedly obtaining “stored media” and posting them online, which matches up with our previous report of leaked nude photos being posted on Selena’s Instagram of her and then-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
The hacker could face a sentence of more than nine years in a California prison if convicted. Charges include five felony counts of identity theft and five felony counts of accessing computer data used to commit fraud. Her arraignment is set for August 27th and she is expected to surrender on or before the date in Los Angeles, according to the press release by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
Sam Smith Visits Pulse Nightclub Memorial
Sam Smith is currently on his “The Thrill of It All” tour, and made a stop to visit the Pulse nightclub memorial in Orlando, Florida.
The singer, a longtime vocal ally of LGBTQ+ rights, shared a heartfelt message on Instagram about his visit, remembering the 49 lives lost to the horrific attack in June 2016. “Just went to Pulse nightclub in Orlando to visit the beautiful memorial that has been built. So deeply emotional & heartbreaking,” Smith wrote, “To all the families and friends of the victims, your loved ones will never be forgotten.”
