The Taylor Swift/Katy Perry Feud Is Officially Over              

The Taylor Swift/Katy Perry feud is officially over. It seems Katy made the move to end it, with Taylor revealing on Instagram Stories that Katy sent an actual olive branch to the Arizona arena where she was set to kick off her “Reputation Stadium Tour.” 

The package included a handwritten note, and from what was visible it read, “Hey old friend, I’ve been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and … feelings between us. I really want to clear the air … I’m deeply sorry … ”

In Tay's video she showed off the package, writing “Thank You Katy,” with Taylor noting “this means so much to me.”

Shawn Mendes Reveals New World Tour              

Shawn Mendes is going on tour. The singer just announced dates for “Shawn Mendes: The Tour,” his third global headlining trek.

The tour will kick off next March in Amsterdam, and will hit the U.S. starting June 12th, 2019 in Portland, Oregon, with shows confirmed through August 24th, 2019 in Brooklyn, New York.

Tickets for all North American shows go on sale to the general public May 10th at 10 am. There will also be special FanAccess & General Fan Presales, available to those who download the free ShawnAccess App.

Christina Aguilera & Demi Lovato Added To Billboard Music Awards              

Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato collaborated on a song on Christina’s upcoming album “Liberated,” and now the pair will debut the track, “Fall in Line,” on the Billboard Music Awards. 

The pair join previously announced performers Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Dua Lipa, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and BTS, as well as Janet Jackson, who’ll be honored with the Icon Award.

The 2018 Billboard Music Awards, hosted by Clarkson, will air May 20th at 8 pm on NBC live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Music Quickies              Carly Rae Jepsen playing free show in New York:Carly Rae Jepsen is set to play a free concert in New York City this summer as part of Lincoln Center’s annual “Out of Doors” schedule. Carly will perform at NPR Music’s Turning the Tables Live: 21st Century Edition, which will also feature I’m With Her and Jamila Woods.  Kelly Clarkson playing Warrior Games concert: Kelly Clarkson is set to perform a concert at the opening ceremony of the Warrior Games, taking place June 2nd. The event will be emceed by Jon Stewart and also feature a performance by Eric Paslay. The ninth annual Warrior Games , a Paralympic-style competition for wounded, ill and injured service members, will take place at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, from June 1st to 9th.Artists announced for Taste of Colorado:Sugar Ray and Smashmouth are set to perform at this year's A Taste of Colorado, a three-day event taking place in Denver over Labor Day weekend, September 1st to 3rd. Both artists will perform on September 3rd, with a lineup that also includes Everclear and the Spindoctors.John Legend's voice coming to Google Assistant:John Legend will soon be able to wake you up in the morning and more. The singer's voice is going to be added to Google Assistant. The news was met with excitement by John's wife Chrissy Teigenwho tweeted, "I don't even need human John anymore," with John reminding her, "Well. The Google Assistant doesn't do EVERYTHING."
