Stalker Arrested Sleeping In Taylor Swift’s Bed
Taylor Swift is dealing with yet another stalker problem. A 22-year-old Florida man named Roger Alvarado was busted in New York Friday after allegedly breaking into the singer’s SoHo townhouse using a ladder.
Cops caught Alvarado after responding to a report of a burglary at the home, which Taylor bought a few months ago, but wasn’t living in. Inside they found Alvarado sleeping in Taylor’s bed, with sources saying he also used the singer’s shower.
He has been charged with felony stalking, burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Back in February, an order of protection was taken out on Alvarado after he threw a shovel through Taylor’s front door.
Bradley Cooper Calls Lady Gaga A “Revelation”
Lady Gaga is set to make her big screen debut in “A Star Is Born,” and her director Bradley Cooper, has only great things to say about her performance.
“Lady Gaga is just kind of a revelation,” Cooper told Robert DeNiro during a Tribeca Film Festival conversation. “But I don’t wanna say too much -- maybe you’ll hate the movie, but I love it. I really love it. It’s the movie I set out to make, which is hard to say."
And it sounds like being a musician helped Gaga with her performance. "You can’t hide when you sing," he said. "To me, the best way to express love is through singing and music. I knew that if I could marry that in a way, that’d be special.”
Cooper also revealed that it was Gaga who convinced him that the music in the film needed to be recorded live, which meant he had to go through 18 months of vocal training. “She said, 'No, the only way this is going to work -- I can’t stand when I watch movies when they have music and you can tell when it’s pre-recorded and people are lip-syncing,'” he noted. “And she’s right. So that was terrifying, but I really relied on her."
"A Star Is Born" is set to drop October 5th.
