Demi Lovato Calls Out Perez Hilton
Demi Lovato is apparently not a huge fan of entertainment blogger Perez Hilton. The singer took to Twitter to call him out as a bully, although she didn’t actually name him directly .
“The other night I got to sing SNS (“Sorry Not Sorry”) directly to one of USA’s most notorious bullies. It felt so f**king great,” she tweeted. “That’s what the song is all about!!! Sorry not sorry that you were in the audience watching me kill it.” She later added, “And btw - he’s remaining nameless because he doesn’t deserve the relevance that he doesn’t have anymore.”
But while Demi didn’t call out Perez by name, the blogger basically outed himself, responding on his website, “Demi Lovato thinks I'm irrelevant and wants to give me a little relevance by tweeting about me,” adding, “Sorry I'm not sorry I said nothing but nice things about her and it.”
Sara Barellis To Be Honored By The Songwriters Hall Of Fame
Sara Bareillis will be honored this year the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s Hal David Starlight Award.
“Sara Bareilles is a force to be reckoned with in popular music," SHOF co-chairs Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff share. "From her self-described 'piano-based pop soul' sound to her tremendous success with her long-running Broadway show ‘Waitress,’ Sara has been a pioneer, forging new ground as a singer-songwriter with every step in her career."
Previous Hal David Starlight Award winners include John Mayer, Taylor Swift, John Legend, Ed Sheeran, Nick Jonas and more.
Sara will receive her honor at the upcoming Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony, taking place June 14th in New York City.
Ed Sheeren Won’t Be Performing At His Wedding
There’s no doubt Ed Sheeran has plenty of songs that are perfect to play at weddings, but don’t expect him to sing any of them at his own wedding to fiancée Cherry Seaborn.
During an appearance on the Aussie radio show “The Kyle and Jakie O Show,” Ed was asked if he planned to perform at his own wedding and he shot that down, sharing, "It would be a little bit weird."
