Justin Timberlake Set For Post-Super Bowl “Tonight Show”
As if headlining the Super Bowl halftime show isn’t enough, Justin Timberlake has booked another gig for February 4th. The singer is set to appear on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon’s” post-Super Bowl episode, which will air live from the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis.
And let’s hope J.T. doesn’t exert himself too much during the Super Bowl, because he’s not only expected to be interviewed by his good buddy Fallon, he’s also scheduled to perform on the show.
“American Idol” Judges Perform Together At Cocktail Party
The new judges on "American Idol" certainly seem to enjoy each other’s company. Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie all attended a cocktail party for the show at the Television Critics Association press tour, and couldn’t help but get on the mic to perform for guests.
Now the trio didn’t actually perform a complete song, and it was certainly an impromptu sing-along, but they tried their best at covering Michael Jackson’s “I’ll Be There,” with Luke handling the high notes the best of the three.
Kelly Clarkson Recounts Her Meryl Streep Encounter
Kelly Clarkson had a fangirl moment at the Golden Globes when she got to meet her idol Meryl Streep, and now she’s talking about the moment in the latest episode of her new web series “Minute + a Glass of Wine.”
Kelly is still dressed in her Globes outfit for the clip, which means she shot it right after the award show. She also admits she’s a little tipsy (which is pretty evident) since they served a lot of wine at the event.
As for the meeting, Kelly says Meryl was “really nice,” although she wasn’t sure the Oscar-winner actually knew who she was. Kelly also met Steve Carell, who infamously screamed out her name when he got his hair waxed in “The 40-Year-Old Virgin.” Kelly says she was “so excited” to meet the actor, noting that he and his wife were “lovely.”
