Ed Sheeran Is Happy His Songs Are Played At Weddings
Ed Sheeran sat down with Willie Geist for an interview on “Sunday Today” and admits he likes the fact that so many of his songs are perfect for weddings.
“It’s nice to be the guy known for making songs that people kiss to or dance to,” Ed says. “Music should do that. Music should make you fall in love and make you happy.”
Ed also talked about his friendship with Taylor Swift, which started when Ed opened up for her on her “Red” tour. He says they get along because “we both started off our lives as the underdog with an acoustic guitar who write songs about our feelings and then have had this sort of had this level of success that has taken us by surprise I guess.”
Madonna To Tour In 2018?
Madonna fans may have something big to look forward to next year. During an appearance on “Live with Kelly & Ryan” the singer hinted that a tour may be in the works for next year.
It all happened during a game of "Sketching With the Stars" that featured Madonna, Kelly Ripa, Ryan Seacrest and Anderson Cooper. Although a YouTube clip of the game cut the discussion, at one point Anderson asked Madonna when she would be touring again.
“Soon,” she said, "I gotta get my show together. 2017 was soccer mom in Portugal. 2018…I’m coming back, baby. I’m coming for you!"
