Ed Sheeran Talks How Beyoncé Collaboration Came Together
Ed Sheeran talked about his, “Perfect,” collaboration with Beyoncé in an interview this weekend with, “Entertainment Tonight.” Sheeran says that Bey changes her email every week, but he managed to get in touch with her via email all the same and then they got on the phone in May to start chatting.
The duet was stripped down to an acoustic version of the song at the suggestion of Beyoncé, which Sheeran says was “perfect,” because the original version of the song was acoustic as well.
Though the song was released last week, Sheeran says he’s been holding onto it since September. Once they got into the studio, Sheeran says Bey recorded it in just one take. "She was just like, 'Right!' Went in, one take, came out, like, 'Yeah, that sounds alright!'" he confessed.
Kelly Clarkson's Home "Bashed In" During Robbery
While on the carpet for the Billboard Women in Music Awards, Kelly Clarkson revealed her family's L.A. home had just been robbed.
“It was crazy, we got here and our whole house was like bashed in”, she said. The scary part wasn't about the loss of material things, though. It was more about the creepiness of a stranger roaming around her family's pad.
“The guy was in our kid’s room…so it was a little weird, other than that everyone is safe and good.”
Clarkson, who accepted the Powerhouse Award at the event, said thankfully no one was home at the time.
Harry Styles Takes His Fashion Cue From Shania Twain
Instead of looking to men in the industry as his fashion inspirations, Harry Styles says he looks to Shania Twain. That’s right. Not only does he take his fashion cues from Twain, but Styles says she has also influenced his music.
“I think both my music and fashion main influence was early Shania Twain,” Styles says. “I think she’s amazing.”
Styles was in Shanghai recently performing for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, a first for Styles who also said it was a “privilege” and fun.
