Music’s Top 21 Under 21

Billboard” magazine has just come out with their list of music’s top 21 stars under the age of 21 and topping the list this year is 19-year-old Shawn Mendes. "I can't believe how fast things have happened," Mendes tells the mag, "and I'm just so honored that people are able to look to me as a leader.”

Coming in at number two is 20-year-old Lorde, followed by 19-year-old Khalid, who notes that he tries to be a role model for others by “staying true to being myself, 100 percent.”

Lorde Covers Phil Collins

Lorde just stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and as is customary performed a cover song, although it may not be one you’d expect to hear from someone who's only 20. Instead of performing a tune of one of her contemporaries, she chose to give her take on the Phil Collins classic “In The Air Tonight.”

While you may think it’s odd for her to cover Collins, Lorde did recently reveal her love of the Genesis frontman during an appearance on Marc Maron’s “WTF” podcast. "My favorite pop males are the guys that sound like a combination of your boyfriend and your dad,” she said. “That’s Phil.”

Beyoncé Goes Bilingual For Charity

Beyoncé is teaming up with J Balvin and Willy William to help out with natural disaster relief. She’ll be doing a verse in Spanish on a remix of “Mi Gente.”

Mrs. Carter took to The ‘Gram to say, “I am donating my proceeds from this song to hurricane relief charities for Puerto Rico, Mexico, and other affected Caribbean Islands.” If you want to help out, go to Bey’s website

And just in case you were wondering, this isn’t Bey’s first time singing in Spanish. In 2007, she released an alternative version of her “B-Day” album with six additional songs in Spanish – including “Amor Gitano,” the theme to the Telemundo telenovela “Zorro.”
