Lady Gaga Gets Get Well Gifts From Beyoncé
Lady Gaga and Beyoncé have apparently stayed close since recording their hit “Telephone” together. Gaga just shared a picture of an Ivy Park sweatshirt sent to her by Bey, which came at a good time because Gaga was “not having a good pain day.”
“Thank you honey B for sending me this comfy sweatshirt,” she writes. “Keeps me warm outside in a hammock so I can be w the trees, and the sky, and the sun and take deep breaths. Feel so lucky to have so much love ❤.”
Beyoncé also sent Gaga a beautiful bouquet of flowers, with Gaga noting, “This was so kind,” and revealing how seeing Bey on TV motivated her not to give up. She adds, “you inspire us all.”
Sam Smith Defends Ed Sheeran Against Claims He’s A “Song Whore”
Sam Smith has come to the defense of his good friend Ed Sheeran. In case you missed it, during an interview with an Aussie radio show, Sam was asked about why he doesn’t give away his songs to other artists, with the host using Ed as an example, calling him a “song whore.”
Well, Sam was having none of it, and quickly shot down the suggestions. “Ed is not a whore,” Sam insisted. “Ed Sheeran is an incredible songwriter, the way that he’s written these songs for other people is just absolutely incredible and I’m enamored by him. I think Ed’s success rate with his writing is just amazing and I love his stuff.”
As for why he doesn’t write songs for other people, Sam explained, “It just hasn’t felt right for my songs [to be shared], maybe just because my songs, like all the other [unused] ones, are just sh*t.”
