Taylor Swift Makes Donation to Joyful Heart Foundation

Now that she's won her court case against a DJ who allegedly groped her in 2013, Taylor Swift is showing support for other survivors of sexual assault.

"I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this,” she wrote in a statement after the ruling. “My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard. Therefore I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves.”

The Joyful Heart Foundation will be one of the lucky recipients.

“Taylor is aware of the Foundation and follows our work,” Maile M. Zambuto, CEO of the foundation, says. “Her team got in touch with me and we talked a lot about her commitment, all along throughout this ordeal, to wanting to be of service to survivors."

Katy Perry Postpones ‘Witness’ Tour Launch

Katy Perry’s "WITNESS: The Tour" will be delayed by nearly two weeks due to production issues. The tour was originally scheduled to begin September 7th in Columbus, Ohio, but will now kick off on September 19th at Montreal’s Bell Centre.

“Due to unavoidable production delays, major elements of my tour stage design could not be available for me to rehearse on until this week,” Perry said in a statement. “I’ll be spending the next few weeks taking the time to properly prepare the show...I’m sorry for any inconvenience this causes."

All tickets purchased for the original concert dates will be honored for the new date.

In the meantime, Perry will host MTV’s Video Music Awards on August 27th.

Pink Shuts Down Haters, Says There's No Aguilera Beef

Pink shut down a Christina Aguilera fan who suggested the she wasn't worthy of the MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award announced earlier this week.

The tweet claimed that the only one of Pink's videos worth a mention was her 2001 Moulin Rogue clip for a cover of "Lady Marmalade" featuring herself Aguilera, Lil Kim and Mya.

Pink was having none of that, and responded: "we can no longer be happy for each other." She added that she loves Christina and that they have "made amends."
