“Despacito” Is Now The Most Viewed Clip On YouTube
last month Wiz Khalfia’s “See You Again,” featuring Charlie Puth took over the record for the most views on YouTube from Psy’s “Gangnam Style." Well, “See You Again” didn’t hold on to that record for long.
Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito” (the version without Justin Bieber) now holds the record, hitting three billion views on the streaming service. In addition to being the most viewed clip on YouTube, it is also the most-liked clip, and, ironically is also the 10th least-liked clip.
Adele Hosts Special Movie Screening For Grenfell Tower Victims
Adele has once again shown she’s a pop star with a huge heart. The singer just hosted a special screening of “Despicable Me 3” for the children affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster.
"It was very intimate,” a source says of the screening at London's Whiteley's cinema. “All we knew as we boarded the fancy coach that there was a special screening just for us. We didn't even know there was a special guest."
The source says the invite came through a charity that has been helping the victims of the devastating fire, and nobody knew Adele was going to be there. The insider adds, “Snacks were provided: popcorn in the foyer and Smarties [chocolates] and water in each seat arm.”
Taylor Swift Case Headed To Court Today
Taylor Swift will be back in the public eye this week but she won’t be performing. Taylor’s battle with DJ David Mueller is headed to court in Denver today, and Taylor is expected to take the stand during the proceeding.
The two sides are suing each other over what went down during a 2015 meet and greet at one of her concerts. Mueller is claiming he was wrongfully accused of groping Taylor and was subsequently fired because of the false accusation. He is seeking $3 million.
Following Mueller filing his suit, Taylor countersued for sexual assault, and insists Mueller put his hand under her dress and grabbed her butt.
Jury selection begins today.
