Gwen Stefani Sued Over Concert Stampede

Gwen Stefani may live to regret inviting fans to fill in some empty seats at one of her shows in Charlotte, North Carolina last year.

A concertgoer named Lisa Stricklin is suing Gwen claiming she was injured when Gwen caused a stampede at her July, 2016 show at PNC Pavilion. According to the suit, Gwen invited folks on the lawn to “Just fill in anywhere you like!,” adding, “Who cares about your lawn chairs? You can get new ones!"

The resulting stampede left Stricklin with a broken leg which required surgery. She is now suing both Gwen and Live Nation for damages, and she even claims Gwen admitted wrongdoing telling the crowd, "I got in so much trouble for telling you guys to come up here!"
