Adele Cancels Final Two Wembley Shows
Adele was supposed to end her tour with a four-night stand at Wembley Stadium in London this past weekend, but her triumphant end was cut short due to vocal problems.
The singer took to social media to explain to fans that she had to cancel the final two shows Saturday and Sunday due to vocal problems. “On medical advice I simply am unable to perform over the weekend,” she wrote. “To say I’m heart broken would be a complete understatement.”
Adele was so upset that she wrote that she even contemplating lip-syncing but just couldn’t do it. “I’m devastated," she added. "I’m sorry. I love you. I’m so sorry. Please forgive me."
Ed Sheeran Has Quit Twitter
Ed Sheeran fans shouldn’t expect to read any new tweets from the singer. Ed reveals in a new interview with “The Sun” that he’s quit Twitter, explaining that negative feedback from online trolls “ruins your day.”
“I go on it and there’s nothing but people saying mean things. Twitter’s a platform for that,” he says. “One comment ruins your day. But that’s why I’ve come off it.” He adds, “The head-f*** for me has been trying to work out why people dislike me so much.”
Hayley Williams And Chad Gilbert Call It Quits
Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams and husband, New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert, have called it quits after 16 months of marriage. The couple, who were together for ten years, announced their split via a statement on Instagram (that has since been taken down), writing, “We want to publicly state—plainly, and only this time—that we are splitting up.”
“We also feel it's important to state that we are going to be okay and in fact, we remain close friends who are good in each other's eyes,” they add. "Marriage is not for the faint of heart. Love is an absolute risk. And it's up to each of us to stay hopeful even when the outcome isn't what we'd originally hoped for."
