Taylor Swift Planning New Album In The Fall

We haven’t seen a lot of Taylor Swift lately and that’s apparently the way she wants it. According to “Us Weekly,” the singer has purposely been “trying to keep herself out of the media.”

But it’s not like she’s sitting at home doing nothing. Sources say Taylor’s been hard at work getting ready for her return to the limelight. “Taylor’s been quietly recording new music for a couple of months,” the insider adds. “She’s aiming to release an album this fall.”

Word is, Taylor has taken steps to keep her studio time private, booking time in smaller studios rather than large ones in Nashville, New York, Los Angeles or London.

As for the sound, fans can expect her to stick to the “pop route,” with the source noting, ““She knows there’s a demand for a new album and has really started focusing on making that happen for fans." The insider adds, “She’s just excited to get back out there."

Justin Bieber Reaches New Milestone On Hot 100 Chart

Justin Bieber landed a new number one this week when DJ Khaled’s “I’m The One,” which he appears on, debuted on top the Hot 100 chart. Well, with that Justin landed a new milestone.

The feat makes Justin the first male solo artist to have two songs debut on top the chart. He previously debuted on top with “What Do You Mean?” back in September, 2015.

Overall, only three acts have ever had more than one song debut on top the Hot 100. The other two are Britney Spears, who also had two songs debut on top, "3" in 2009 and "Hold It Against Me" in 2011, and Mariah Carey, who had three, "Fantasy" and "One Sweet Day," with Boyz II Men, both in 1995, and "Honey" in 1997.
