Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” Still Number One
Ed Sheeran continues his reign on top the “Billboard” Hot 100. Ed’s latest single “Shape of You” is at number one for a tenth week, only the 34th song to stay at number one at least ten weeks. “Shape of You” also tops the Digital Songs Sales chart for a tenth week, the Radio Songs chart for an eighth week and the Streaming Songs chart for a fourth week.
Coming in just behind Ed is Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like,” followed by The Chainsmokers’ “Something Just Like This,” featuring Coldplay at three, which means the EDM duo has now spent 48 consecutive weeks in the Hot 100 Top Ten, matching Ace of Base’s streak, with only Drake (51) and Katy Perry (69) having more weeks. Elsewhere, The Weeknd’s “I Feel it Coming,” featuring Daft Punk is at four, followed by KYLE’s “iSpy,” featuring Lil Yachty at five.

In case you missed it, Alessia took home the trophy for Pop Album of the Year for “Know It All,” while Mendes was the winner of the Fan Choice Award and The Weeknd’s “Starboy,” was named R&B/Soul Recording Of The Year.
The night’s big awards went to the late Leonard Cohen, who was named Entertainer of the Year, and his final album, “You Want It Darker,” picked up Album of the Year.
Britney Spears Makes Backstreet Boy Her Slave
Britney Spears made a fellow pop star her slave over the weekend. As she usually does at her “Piece of Me” Las Vegas residency, Britney pulled a member of the audience up during her “Freakshow” performance, and this time it was Backstreet Boys’ Howie Dorough.
As usual, Britney walked Howie D on a leash and whipped him a little before eventually introducing him to the audience. She even signed a T-shirt for him, just like she would any other fan.
