George Michael Laid To Rest

George Michael has finally been laid to rest.  “We can confirm that the funeral of the singer George Michael took place today,” read a statement from the singer's family. “Family and close friends gathered for the small, private ceremony to say goodbye to their beloved son, brother and friend.”

Michael, who was found dead at his home on Christmas Day, has reportedly been buried at Highgate Ceremony in London, next to his mother, Lesley, who passed away 20 years ago. “People” reports that among those paying their respects were Michael’s ex Kenny Goss, boyfriend Fadi Fawaz, and Wham! bandmates Andrew Ridgeley, Helen ‘Pepsi’ DeMacque-Crockett and Shirlie Kemp.

“George Michael’s family would like to thank his fans across the world for their many messages of love and support,” the statement continued. “We ask that the family’s wish for privacy be respected so that they can continue to live their lives privately, away from any media intrusion. No further details will be released.”

Is This Really Adele’s Final Tour?

Adele told a concert audience in New Zealand that she wasn’t sure if she’ll “ever tour again,” but not everyone thinks she’s all that serious.

“It’s true. She does not like to tour and she’s drained, but in two years, when it’s like, ‘I can make $100 million,’ she’ll be back,” a source tells “The New York Post.” “Everybody says they may never tour again until they get a lot of money . . . She can play a limited number of dates and make it more convenient.”

The insider does admit though that since Adele doesn’t have any kind of exclusive deal with promoters Live Nation or AEG, “she’s not obligated to tour at all.”

John Legend Gives Surprise Concert At London Train Station

Travelers at a London train station got quite a surprise yesterday when John Legend stepped off a Eurostar train from Paris, France and decided to put on a show.

John used one of the public pianos at St. Pancras International station to treat passersby to a 15 minute performance, which featured the songs “Ordinary People,” “All of Me” and his new single “Surefire.

Legend did give fans a clue as to what he was up to via social media. Just minutes before he sat down at the piano he tweeted, “Arriving at London ‪@StPancrasInt on ‪@EurostarUK. Do they still have that piano there?”
