Adele Dedicates Song To London Terrorist Victims
Adele paid tribute to the victims of this week’s London terrorist attack during her concert in New Zealand.
"Today there was a terror attack in my hometown of London,” she told the crowd in Auckland. “I'm literally on the other side of the world and I want them to see our lights and to hear us.”
She added, “It's very strange not being home, all I want to do today is be at home with my friends and family. All of them are fine but there are four people who aren't fine so let's dedicate this to them tonight.”
Adele then dedicated her cover of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love” to the victims of the attack, which left four people dead and 29 injured.
John Mayer Misses Katy Perry
John Mayer is still pining away for his ex-girlfriend Katy Perry. In an interview with the “New York Times,” John admits that his new track, “Still Feel Like Your Man,” was written about his two-year relationship with Katy.
“Who else would I be thinking about?” he tells the paper, adding, “And by the way, it’s a testament to the fact that I have not dated a lot of people in the last five, six years. That was my only relationship. So it’s like, give me this, people.”
And it sure sounds like John, who turns 40 in October, is ready to settle down and have a family. “I wish there was somebody to throw me the 40th,” he said, adding, “I want the baby with the protective earphones” near the stage. He notes, “I’m right on time for my career, and I’m running late for my life.”
