As expected, Ed Sheeran’s new album “÷” (“Divide”) tops the “Billboard” 200 this week and man what a debut week it had. Ed moved 451,000 equivalent album units, which makes the album 2017’s largest debut and the best-selling week since J.Cole moved 492,000 copies of “4 Your Eyez Only” the week of December 31st 2016. What’s more, of that 451,000, 322,000 were in traditional album sales, which is also the largest amount since J.Cole’s release.

“Divide” is now Ed’s second consecutive number one following 2014’s “x” (“Multiply”), which debuted on top with 209,000 in traditional album sales.

New Stargate Tune Featuring Pink & Sia Debuts

Pink and Sia appear on the debut single from Norwegian duo Stargate, a.k.a. Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen, and now the track, “Waterfall,” has officially been released.
