Ed Sheeran Tops The Hot 100, The Chainsmokers Land Three Tunes In The Top Ten              

Ed Sheeran just won’t give up his number one reign. The singer’s latest track, “Shape of You,” tops the “Billboard” Hot 100 singles chart for a sixth week, and also tops the Digital Songs Sales chart for a sixth week, the Radio Songs chart for a fourth week, and the Streaming Songs and On-Demand Streaming Songs charts for a second week.

Coming in at number two this week is Migos' "Bad and Boujee," featuring Lil Uzi Vert, followed by Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” at three, and Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” at four.

At number five is “Something Just Like This,” The Chainsmokers’ collaboration with Coldplay’s Chris Martin, one of three Chainsmokers tunes in the Top Ten. The feat makes them just the third duo or group to ever have three simultaneous Top Ten singles, with The Beatles and the Bee Gees being the other two. The EDM duo’s other Top Ten singles this week include “Paris” at seven and “Closer,” featuring Halsey, at ten.

Adele Named Artist of The Year              

Adele is set to pick up yet another honor. The multiple GRAMMY winner has just been named Artist of the Year by The Music Business Association (Music Biz).

“Adele is a once-in-a-lifetime talent who has clearly struck an indelible chord with music fans all around the world,” James Donio, president of Music Biz, says. "Her accomplishments are unprecedented, from the record-shattering success of ‘25,’ to the glowing reviews and sold-out audiences for her massive world tour, to her Emmy-nominated TV special ‘Adele Live in New York City.’"

Adele will receive the honor at the upcoming Music Biz 2017 conference, taking place take place in Nashville from May 15th to 18th. Previous Artist of the Year winners include Little Big Town, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Coldplay and more. 

Ed Sheeran Teases Taylor Swift Collaboration              

Ed Sheeran just made Taylor Swift fans squeal with joy. The singer revealed that fans can look forward to another Ed/Taylor collaboration, although when it will happen is another story. 

“It will definitely happen again,” he told E! News. “I don’t know when it will happen, but yeah, it will certainly happen again in our lifetime.”

Ed and Taylor, who are good friends, previously worked together on the 2013 track “Everything’s Changed.”
