Is Lorde’s New Music Coming Thursday?

It certainly looks like the very long wait Lorde fans have been enduring for new music IS nearly over. The singer just dropped a cryptic commercial that seems to suggest her new single will be released on Thursday.

Lorde just tweeted “are you hungry?,” as well as a link to mysterious website, imwaitingforit.com, and when you click on it there’s a video, which aired in New Zealand over the weekend, that has Lorde sitting in a car eating and drinking in a car as music plays in the background. It then flashes the dates, "3.2.17 NYC" and "3.3.17 NZ," which many believe signify the release date of her new tune.

It would seem to make sense that Lorde is releasing a song this week. She’s due to play “Saturday Night Live” on March 11th and will need something new to perform.
