Mariah Carey Shares The Blame For New Year’s Debacle

Mariah Carey has given her first full interview since her disastrous New Year’s Eve performance in Times Square and now admits she’s partly to blame for what happened, but not actually for the bad performance.

"This was out of my control, and had everything not been such a total chaotic mess, then I would have been able to make something happen,” she tells “Rolling Stone.” “Even the dancers should have stopped dancing and helped me off the f---ing stage.” She adds, “I'm sorry. It was a mess, and I blame everybody, and I blame myself for not leaving after rehearsal."

Mariah says she gets why the public doesn't understand what went wrong with the performance. "It's just something where if I can't explain it to the entire world, then they're not going to understand it, because it's not what they do,” she offers. “Just like I wouldn't understand somebody who had a desk job and how to do that. I couldn't. I literally am incapable of being in the real world and surviving."

Jennifer Lopez Talks Drake And Younger Men On “Ellen”

Jennifer Lopez was grilled about her relationship with Drake on yesterday's edition of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Ellen tried to get J.Lo to talk about what’s going on with the rapper, at first by asking whether she spent Valentine’s Day with him, but J.Lo was cagey and would only say that he is “off on tour right now.”

After showing the cozy Instagram shot J.Lo and Drake posted last month, Ellen continued, asking “But you were songwriting with him, right 'songwriting'?" "We did a song together if that's what you're 'asking,'" Lopez responded. "We weren't writing a song right at that moment. We were just hanging out."

J.Lo also talked about how folks think she only dates younger men, and insists that her finding a guy “has nothing to do with age.” "If there's somebody older, they're older," she says. "If they're younger, they're younger. It doesn't matter. It's whether or not I'm attracted to them or not, attracted to their spirit, their soul..."
