Last January, a throat infection forced Sting to cancel his appearance at the Bass Magazine Awards, where he was being honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as postponing shows in Phoenix and Wheatland, California.
A year later he's finally received his award and posted a video on Instagram of himself accepting it, along with him reading his speech, which is an ode to his Fender bass that he wrote in 2001.
