Maya Hawke – who you may know from the fourth season of "Stranger Things", or as Uma Thurman’s daughter with Ethan Hawke –is officially breaking into music. The actress has announced her debut full-length album, “Blush,” due for release on June 19th.
Hawke is giving fans a preview of the record with the new single and music video “By Myself,” a song she calls a “secret message” to herself. Fans can pre-order “Blush”HERE, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the New York City Food Bank.
“It’s about projecting ideas you have about yourself onto other people,” she explains. “You perceive yourself as being in these toxic relationships with others, and get all worked up about them, but sometimes it really just means you have a toxic relationship with yourself.”
