Breast cancer survivor Sheryl Crow has signed on to fashion designer Ralph Lauren's Pink Pony, a nearly two decade campaign aimed at wiping out cancer.
Crow will be part of a new initiative that began Tuesday called Together in Pink, which involves a group of survivors and their support systems sharing their stories to inspire hope.
Crow tells Billboard, "This campaign revolves around storytelling, which is my line of work, so it was a great marriage."
She has shot a video titled Let's Talk About Cancer, in which she and ovarian cancer survivor and advocate Nevette Tyus Middleton speak about how the disease is not a death sentence.
