Elton John sang with "himself" Sunday night when actor Taron Egerton, who plays Elton in Rocketman-- the new movie about his life -- joined him on stage in Hove, England to perform "Your Song."
It was Elton's 95th show on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour and the first to feature a special guest.
Rocketman was the weekend's fifth-highest grossing movie with a take of $14-million, bringing its two-week U.S. total to $50-and-a-half million.
In other Elton news, his Diamonds compilation has become his 20th Billboard Top 10 album. Spurred by the release of Rocketman, the set jumped to number-seven from number-23, with an 83-percent hike in album equivalent units bought and streamed.
