Disaster Relief products include personal care kits, household and cleaning products, first-aid and safety kits and supplies, diapers, toilet paper, detergent pods, tarps, and ice.

Laundry Services and Disaster Relief Product Distribution

There is a limit of 2 loads of laundry per household. All washable items, with the exception of heavy bedding, will be accepted.


Matthew 25 is seeking additional supplies for disaster preparedness and distribution. Always needed and appreciated supplies include:

  • Monetary Donations: Donate online, mail checks to Matthew 25: Ministries, 11060 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242 100% of donated funds designated for Tornado Relief will be used for the purpose intended.
  • Non-Perishable Food:PULL TOP canned vegetables, fruits etc.; ready to eat dry goods such as nuts, peanut butter, dried fruits, granola and trail mixes, jerkies, ready to eat snacks; bottled water; ready- to-eat meals or MREs etc.
  • Personal Care Products:Antibacterial soap, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, lotion etc.
  • Cleaning supplies:Laundry detergents, general cleaner, sponges, bleach (powdered form is preferred), mops, scrub brushes, buckets, rubber gloves etc.
  • Paper products:Toilet paper, paper towels etc.
  • Baby and infant supplies:Diapers, wipes, diaper rash ointment, baby wash, baby shampoo, baby lotion etc.
  • First-Aid items:Bandages, gauze, pads, first aid tape, antiseptic creams, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, latex gloves, instant cold packs etc.
  • New and gently used clothing;new underwear and socks in original packaging
  • Candles and flashlights:If necessary, please include the appropriate size batteries with any flashlight donation
  • Clean-up supplies:Protective eyewear, work gloves, masks, shovels, screwdrivers, saws, trash bags etc.

Matthew 25: Ministries accepts cash, credit card and online donations for ongoing disaster aid and humanitarian relief programs.

Donors who would like to designate their financial gifts for Tornado Relief may do so by writing“Dayton Tornadoes”in the memo line of their check or by typing it in the “in honor of” field of our online giving form. Please mail checks to Matthew 25: Ministries, 11060 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242.  100% of donated funds designated for Dayton Tornadoes will be used for the purpose intended.


5/30/19 | Matthew 25: Ministries’ Disaster Response Team deployed earlier this morning to provide relief supplies and services to those affected by the tornadoes that struck Dayton and Celina. The team will begin relief services at 9 AM on Friday, 5/31.

5/31/19 | Our teams washed laundry in Trotwood and Celina, and distributed supplies to neighborhoods throughout Dayton. We washed 122 loads of laundry and distributed personal care kits, paper products, diapers and baby items, safety kits, water, and more supplies to assist with recovery efforts. We also collected donations of personal care products, paper products, food, cleaning supplies, clothes and more to distribute to those in need. Relief services will continue tomorrow at 9 AM.

6/1/19 | Today our disaster teams washed 126 loads of laundry and distributed over 1,250 personal care kits. In addition, we distributed paper products, pet food, garbage bags, cleaning supplies, safety kits, water and more to those in the affected areas. Tomorrow, Sunday June 2, teams will collect laundry from 9 AM-5 PM, and the fairground distribution center will operate from 9 AM-6 PM. We will also continue to distribute aid throughout neighborhoods. June 2 will be the final full day for the team in Celina. They will then move to the Trotwood area to assist with the large needs in the community.

6/2/19 | On Sunday, we washed 128 loads of laundry in Celina and Trotwood. Supplies were also distributed throughout these neighborhoods and the Greater Dayton area. We distributed over 1,000 personal care kits, as well as thousands of rolls of paper products, garbage bags, meals, ice, water, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent and more. We also collected donations of water, paper products, cleaning supplies, food, baby items, and personal care supplies to help people recovering from the tornadoes. Tomorrow, relief services will continue at Trotwood and the Montgomery County Fairgrounds beginning at 9 AM.
