LEVITT DAYTON DONATING TO TORNADO RELIEF ON OPENING NIGHT

The Levitt Pavilion Dayton will donate a portion of opening night’s collection to the Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund of the Dayton Foundation.

Dayton, Ohio (May 29, 2018) – As we approach opening day of the Levitt Pavilion Dayton on Thursday, May 30th, our community is reeling from the devastation of Monday night’s tornadoes. To help those in our community affected by this disaster, the Levitt Pavilion Dayton will donate a portion of opening night’s collection to the Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund of the Dayton Foundation.

The Levitt Pavilion Dayton is a non-profit and raises money in various ways to support the mission of building community through music, one free concert at a time. One of those ways is to pass a blue bucket at each concert and collect donations from concert-goers.

“When we saw the devastation that our community is facing after Monday’s tornadoes, we knew we had to do our part and pitch in,” said Lisa Wagner, Executive Director. “We are so fortunate that the Levitt is intact and has power, we want to help those that are facing a long journey of rebuilding in any way we can.”

The 2019 Eichelberger Concert Season launches on May 30th at 7PM with pop, R&B group The New Respects.

Media is welcome at all concerts at the Levitt Pavilion Dayton. Please contact Madeline Hart at madeline@levittdayton.org if you would like to set up interviews with staff or board members.
