Adam Lambert just dropped the new song “New Eyes,” the first single from his upcoming album “Velvet,” which so far doesn’t have a release date.
As the singer previously mentioned, the song represents a “new era” for him, and it’s already getting props from his Queen bandmate Brian May. “BRAND NEW from Adam Lambert!!! NEW EYES !,” May tweeted, “Strange – this took me a while to assimilate – wasn’t sure when I first heard it – but now definitely falling in love with this track. GO ADAM !!”
Fans can catch Adam performing the tune Sunday on the season finale of “American Idol.” He’s also scheduled to headline a "GMA" Summer concert on June 28th.
