“The Voice” Drops New Promo Featuring John Legend

The 16th season of “The Voice” is set to premiere on February 25th, with new mentor John Legend, and a new promo for the season has his fellow judges, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton, looking a little nervous. “What are you guys worried about?” Levine asks his castmates. “I mean, John’s an Emmy winner, a Grammy, Oscar, Tony — it’s a lot,” Clarkson adds, with Shelton replying, “I’m not worried.”The trio then come across a huge keyboard, and start having a little fun playing “Stand By Me,” until Legend comes in and basically shows them all up. “Should have seen that coming,” Blake notes, with Clarkson adding, “Now I’m worried.”

ONE MORE THING! Legend had a little fun with folks’ possible reaction to the promo. “I hope no one dares suggest I had a body double in this promo,” he tweeted. “That's offensive and I won't be taking any follow-up questions. Please respect the privacy of me and my family.”
