Miley Cyrus & Adam Levine Pay Tribute To Chris Cornell

Miley Cyrus and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine were among the artists on hand to help pay tribute to late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornellearlier this week at “I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell,” a five-hour concert at The Forum in Los Angeles. 

Miley performed two songs, “As Hope And Promise Fades,” (originally released as “Two Drink Minimum”) and later she joined Cornell’s band Temple of the Dog and brought down the house with her take on “Say Hello 2 Heaven.”

“Say Hello to Heaven... had a heavenly experience with you tonight, Chris,” Miley shared on Instagram. “We felt you and heard you.... your words and spirit filled the room.... there was an overwhelming feeling of so much love... we miss you deeply ... tonight was an honor.... #chriscornelltribute.” 

Meanwhile, Levine joined Pearl Jam guitarist and Temple of the Dog member Stone Gossard and Jesse Carmichael, for “Seasons,” the solo track Cornell recorded for the movie “Singles.”
