The Prince estate, in partnership with Warner Brothers Records, has released a powerful video for "Mary Don't You Weep." This dramatic recording of the 19th century spiritual is featured on Piano and a Microphone 1983, out tomorrow (Friday).
The first original Prince video to be released posthumously makes a statement on gun violence and its continued devastating impact. Every year, nearly 1300 children die and almost 5800 are treated for gunshot wounds in the United States.
Directed by filmmaker Salomon Ligthelm, the video was shot in New York City.
