REASONABLE DOUBT: Takes Another Look At The Ryan Widmer Conviction

On Wednesday, June 25 at 10/9c, true-crime channel Investigation Discovery (ID) will reinvestigate the conviction of Ryan Widmer for the murder of Sarah Widmer in Hamilton Township, Ohio on an all-new episode of REASONABLE DOUBT.

In this episode of REASONABLE DOUBT, Ryan Widmer had two life changing experiences in 2008: he got married to the love of his life Sarah, and he became a widower. Ryan insists a rare medical condition caused his wife to drown in the bathtub. But the prosecution painted a picture of a cold-blooded killing, and a jury sentenced him to prison for her murder. Retired homicide detective Chris Anderson and criminal defense attorney Fatima Silva have been called in by Ryan's distraught twin brother to see if there's enough evidence to prove his innocence beyond a reasonable doubt.

Hosts Chris Anderson and Fatima Silva are available for interviews to discuss the findings of their investigation.

This episode also includes interviews with:

-        Ayran Widmer, Ryan’s brother

-        Chris Kist, friend of the Widmer’s

-        Dana Kist, friend of the Widmer’s

-        Ron Houston, forensic examiner

-        Sarah Crews, coroner

-        Wayne Wallace, forensic criminologist

-        Brian Bell, juror
