Bruce Springsteen performed Monday night at the re-opening of Asbury Lanes

Bruce Springsteen was the special guest Monday night at the re-opening of Asbury Lanes, a bowling alley and concert venue in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

He took the stage with the Tangiers Blues Band, which includes his friend and photographer Danny Clinch, ahead of the night's headliner, Portugal. The Man.

Springsteen's 30-minute set featured covers of Huey Smith's "Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu," Muddy Waters' "I Just Wanna Make Love to You," The Rolling Stones' version of "Down the Road Apiece" and The Isley Brothers' "Twist and Shout."
