A 12-year-old girl in Vancouver, British Columbia got her wish to sing with Pink granted during the singer’s recent concert in the city. After her mother got her tickets to Pink’s show, Victoria Anthony started a campaign to make her dream come true, with the hashtag #VicAndPink quickly spreading across social media.
And apparently Victoria’s campaign made its way to Pink, because during the show the singer came down and handed the mic to her young fan, who sang “Perfect,” and blew Pink away. “You’re amazing,” Pink told Victoria, before hugging her and joking “Wow I don’t want to sing anymore.”
“What I’m taking away from this, and what everyone should take away, is that when you want something like nothing is impossible,” Anthony said. “You can always achieve something; [it] is just about the amount of effort you put in.”
