Chris Pratt Receiving Generation Award At MTV Movie Awards

Chris Pratt is set to receive the Generation Award at this year’s MTV Movie and TV Awards. Pratt is best known for his roles in “Parks and Recreation,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and “Jurassic World.” Upon the announcement, MTV posted a video of reasons why they love the actor and feel he’s the perfect recipient of the award including being an “action star” and “goofball.” He's previously received an MTV Movie and TV Award for Best Action Performance in 2016.

The award recognizes noteworthy talent and contribution to film and TV. Pratt joins the likes of Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Jamie Foxx, Adam Sandler, and fellow superhero Robert Downey Jr., who’ve also received the award.
