Kellogg’s Just Dropped An Edible And Playable Record

Kellogg’s just dropped the very first edible and playable record to ever be made out of actual breakfast cereal.

The vinyl-inspired record features the new release “Hello” from the Simon Cowell-backed boy band PRETTYMUCH, an iHeartRadio 2018 Best Boy Band nominee.

Featuring a silhouette of Tony the Tiger, the edible record is made with a core of Chocolate Frosted Flakes, topped with layers of milk and dark chocolate that were pressed in a 3D-printed mold to create playable grooves.

The company says fans who registered with PRETTYMUCH in advance will be the first to receive the record today and have the chance to meet the band in person at Kellogg’s NYC café. Starting Friday, April 20, all fans can pick up the Chocolate Frosted Flakes record for free at the NYC café, while supplies last. A limited number of the collector’s item will also be available in Chicago on April 21 at Reckless Records’ Wicker Park location, in honor of Record Store Day.

Chocolate Frosted Flakes can be found at major retailers and grocery stores nationwide where breakfast foods are sold for a suggested price ranging between $4.69 and $5.79.
