Jax Taylor Speaks Out After Being Fired From Bravo's 'Vanderpump Rules'

Jax Taylor has reportedly been fired from Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, Variety has learned.

According to the outlet, who broke the report Friday (December 4), Taylor – who was a part of the 2013 show's original cast – has been given the ax. What's more, Taylor’s wife, Brittany Cartwright, will also not be returning to the reality show.

A Bravo spokesperson confirmed the exits to Variety, simply stating, “Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright will not be returning to Vanderpump Rules.”

Amid the exit reports, Taylor officially announced his departure in an Instagram post the same day.

“The last 8 years on Vanderpump Rules have been some of the most challenging, rewarding and fulfilling years of my life. Although this is difficult to share, Brittany and I will not be returning for another season of Vanderpump Rules,” Taylor wrote with a series of photos of the couple’s time on the show.

“We are excited to take this time to focus on our growing family and share with you our new endeavors. @bravotv, @evolutionusa and our Vanderpump castmates will always remain close to our hearts," he continued. "Thank you to all the fans who have shared our journey with us and supported us through everything. We love you. Stay tuned, We can’t wait for to share what we have planned. Have a great weekend. 💟”

As yet, it's unclear what led to Taylor's termination from the long-running series, which has since been delayed as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has caused restaurants in Los Angeles to shut down.

Taylor and Cartwright are the latest cast members to be let go from Vanderpump Rules. Bravo previously fired Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute in June because of their alleged racist actions against their former Black female costar, Faith Stowers.
