The release of Coldplay's eighth studio album Everyday Life is only nine days away, and as the date looms closer the band continues to give us a feel of what to expect. On Wednesday (November 13), they teased another track off the new project on Instagram. "Daddy" is an emotional piano ballad that sees Chris Martin all up in his feelings, and the corresponding visuals paint a breathtaking, surreal picture of an animated child riding a whale through the night sky.
"Here’s a snippet of the beautiful visual for Daddy, the 5th song on our new album Everyday Life (out in 9 days)," the band captioned the clip. "The animation was directed by the incredible @AsaLucander and produced by@AardmanAnimations."

Everyday Life is a 16-track, double album divided into two sections: sunrise and sunset. Aside from "Daddy," they also previewed "Guns," the opening song on the second half, last week. In addition to the teasers, Coldplay recently debuted the album's title track while performing on Saturday Night Live, and last month shared its first two singles — "Orphans" and "Arabesque."
Everyday Life is slated for a November 22 release. Check out its full track list here.
