The 'Avengers: Endgame' Soundtrack Is Loaded With Classic Rock

Marvel has released precious few details surrounding its Avengers franchise finale, Avengers: Endgame, out Friday. But we now know the events depicted on screen are augmented by a ton of familiar music.

It's no wonder Marvel's 22-film Avengers franchise seems to appeal to everyone on its way to being the highest-grossing film franchise of all-time. While Endgame features plenty of contemporary pop and hip-hop, it also includes a healthy serving of rock and roll.

An advanced screening revealed several tunes by classic rock artists, including The Rolling Stones' 2012 single "Doom And Gloom," The Kinks' 1972 hit "Supersonic Rocket Ship," Steppenwolf's 1970 version of blues standard "Hey Lawdy Mama" and Traffic's 1967 hit "Dear Mr. Fantasy," according to Ultimate Classic Rock.

And that's not even including the cast parody of Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire," which came out earlier this week on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as a tribute to late-Marvel Comics founder Stan Lee.

Endgame features Lee's final Marvel film cameo.
