Chip and Joanna Gaines announced the newest edition of their family on Saturday (June 23), marking the Fixer Upper stars' fifth child.
Chip was the first to announce the new baby, tweeting "And then there were 5.. The Gaines crew is now 1 stronger! 10 beautiful toes and 10 beautiful fingers all accounted for, and big momma is doing great!" with a blessed beyond belief hashtag. But it wasn't until Joanna posted a photo of the new Gaines member that we knew the couple had a baby boy named Crew—and he was born two and a half weeks early!
"Our baby boy, Crew Gaines, is here and we couldn’t be more in love. He made an unexpected (and speedy) entrance into the world two and a half weeks early - which is fitting given he was a sweet surprise from day one," she wrote. "Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful."
The parents of five will have plenty of time to spend with their kiddos now, as the fifth and final season of their home renovation show aired its final episode in April. The Gaines have also found themselves in a little legal trouble. The EPA recently found 33 of their remodeled homes "did not depict the lead-safe work practices normally required." As a result, the couple has to pay a $40,000 civil fine.
