New Details About XXXTentacion's Shooting Death Revealed

XXXTentacion was fatally shot on Monday (June 18) in Florida. He was only 20 years old. Now, more details are surfacing about the rapper's tragic death.

According to Broward County sheriff's authorities, XXX was ambushed by two men after he left a motorcycle store in his electronic BMW. The rapper was reportedly robbed of a Louis Vuitton bag. Eyewitnesses say that the robbers shot him and then, quickly left the scene of the crime in a black SUV.

A source told TMZ that "a bullet struck XXX in the neck -- and he went immediately limp -- losing all signs of life, including pulse." The news outlet adds: "The police dispatch also revealed just how dire XXX's situation was ... classifying him as a level 1 trauma patient and describing his state as 'comatose.' The eyewitness says it was clear to him ... XXX had passed."

The recording artist's lawyer, David Bogenschutz, also told authorities that the rapper visited the bank right before he headed to the motorcycle store. So, he possibly could have taken out some money for the bike he wanted to buy.

XXX's team, A/K/W PR, released a statement regarding his death. See that below.

The rapper's ex-girlfriend, as well as other members of the hip hop community, have reacted to the killing. “I want to scream at the top of my lungs until i can’t then keep screaming. I don’t want to believe this. No one knows. The s—. I feel. For you. It isn’t real. Come back,” she said on social media. Fans have also been holding memorials for the artist around the country, including the site where he was killed.

As of the time of this writing, there have been no arrests made in XXX's fatal shooting and robbery.
