K-Pop Boy Band 100% Singer Minwoo Dead At Age 33

Korean singer Minwoo of K-Pop boy band 100% died on Sunday night (March 25) at the age of 33 after suffering from a cardiac arrest in his home in Gangnam, Seoul, as per a recent announcement.

According to his label TOP Media, the singer was found without a pulse in his home and upon arrival, first responders declared him dead. "His family, the 100% members, and the TOP Media artists and staff members are all grief-stricken and in mourning from the unexpected, sad news," the site read. Elsewhere in the announcement, Minwoo was described as the one to take care of the pop collective. As per the decision of his family, the funeral services will be held quietly without public participation. 

Born Seo Minwoo, the singer was the frontman of the five-member band since their debut on the scene in 2012. In addition to helping lead the act through a number of hits like "Beat," "U Beauty," "How to Cry" and "Warrior," the bandmate also ventured into the world of acting.

The Korea Herald reported that 100% is still set to continue on with their upcoming concerts in Japan on April 21 and 30, but their TOP Media agency have yet to confirm the shows' latest statuses. Meanwhile, 100%'s bandmates Rockhyun, Jonghwan, Chanyong, and Hyukjin have yet to publically address Minwoo's death.
